This Halloween up-rises a new breed of live shows in San Jose, a breed that rings in your ears for two days after, a gene pool stomping ground of art, live music and more art. The release of “Dead Sexy” is the first for KFV in over 5 years and includes guest appearances by Spice 1, Dem Hoodstarz, Z Man (now signed to Def Jam) and local favorites Grunge Toefu, Lucky Lucianni, Doujah Lounge and Roch. “Dead Sexy” is the 5th release by Kung Fu Vampire (if you include LSP albums http://myspace.com/lspmusic) but is the 2nd official release under the Kung Fu Vampire trademark. Pacific Art Collective presents The Rivals 7th Annual Halloween Party and Rock Show including Shadow Beat Ritual, The Rivals and Johnny Manic and The Depressives. Attendees must look sexy, scary or rediculous to even have a chance at all the free prizes going out during the costume contest. September 22nd 2006 The band infamously known as Kung Fu Vampire found themselves perched a top a grassy hill in the beautiful Holmby Hills of Los Angeles (near Beverly Hills). This grassy hill over looked what you may know as the world famous Grotto at The Playboy Mansion. It was 88 degrees, sunny and packed with naked painted ladies, Playboy Bunnies and The worlds tallest bikini model Alexis Skye. Amongst the mayhem and performance a sense of climax or absolute bliss was inside of all of us as we toured this tropical, adult wondeland. The grounds of the Mansion are beyond photo snapping worthiness, lined with ferns, surrounded by rare birds and the ever so surprising Monkeys, Peacocks and Flamingos, did I mention Naked ladies. This video is only a small glimpse of what really happened and how it went down but I am sure your imagination will let you tell the rest of the story.

Scarub of Living Legends and Very form “Afro Classic” and are releasing there CD in San Jose at The Voodoo Lounge Sunday November 30th. The show includes live performances By AM1, X-Kid, Dan-D, Magruff Muttley, Hypnotic Vibration, 40-8 Krooks, Can’t Find A villain and of Course Scarub. Admission is 10 dollars and doors are at 8pm.
