Kung Fu Vampire performs for Hugh Hefner and The Girls Next Door

September 22nd 2006 The band infamously known as Kung Fu Vampire found themselves perched a top a grassy hill in the beautiful Holmby Hills of Los Angeles (near Beverly Hills). This grassy hill over looked what you may know as the world famous Grotto at The Playboy Mansion. It was 88 degrees, sunny and packed with naked painted ladies, Playboy Bunnies and The worlds tallest bikini model Alexis Skye. Amongst the mayhem and performance a sense of climax or absolute bliss was inside of all of us as we toured this tropical, adult wondeland. The grounds of the Mansion are beyond photo snapping worthiness, lined with ferns, surrounded by rare birds and the ever so surprising Monkeys, Peacocks and Flamingos, did I mention Naked ladies. This video is only a small glimpse of what really happened and how it went down but I am sure your imagination will let you tell the rest of the story.

Silicon Valley De Bug: A look inside San Jose’s Underground Movement

Silicon Valley Debug and Hip Hop Congress have opened the Hip Hop Co-Op: A Hip Hop and clothing store based out of Silicon Valley Debugs location in San Jose at 701 Lenzen Ave. This store seeks to carry independent art and clothing from all over the Bay, and is already carrying or will shortly be carrying music from Sam Seven, Pash A Truck Specialist, DLabrie, Y-Balance and Shamako Noble from the Bay, B Girl Chillz, Suntonio Bandanaz, and Silent Lambz Project Out of Seattle, Iron Fist Records, F.E.W., and Co-Op entertainment out of Chicago, and much more. We will also soon be carrying catalog material from groups like LA to the Bay, and the former Independent powerhouse 75 ark. Our clothing includes shirts and summer wear from companies like Force 129, After Dark Designs, Mextape, Hip Hop Congress lines, ODMD, DEEJAE, The Highest Authority, Sean Boyles. We are currently accepting independent clothing lines from interested folks all throughout the country. Raj Jaydev, one of the founders and the coordinator of Silicon Valley Debug said, “Debug has always been about supporting local culture in whatever way it could, be it the magazine or the website or just coming through to local events to support folks we consider family. Launching this store, under the leadership and savvy of someone like Megabusive is taking it another level.” Megabusive, whose been helping to blaze a path for the San Jose underground scene for sometime supported this thought, “I’m still making dope music, but this is whole different aspect of Hip Hop that we get to contribute to. What’s great about it is that we get to contribute not just to local and regional Hip Hop, but we can to contribute to what’s going down all over. This is an exciting time.” HHC will be developing an online component that will be launched within the next month in conjunction with the store in San Jose. In addition to all of this, there are several other services available in the Debug facility including T-shirt design and printing, graphic design for posters, flyers and CD covers and marketing and promotional support in the South Bay. If you are interested in selling your merchandise online at hiphopcongress.com, and at the store, please contact Megabusive at megabusive@hiphopcongress.com or call De-Bug at 408-971-4965. You can also stay informed on the store at siliconvalleydebug.com or hiphopcongress.com.
